    What is the next stage after the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam?

    Millions of candidates appear for the SSC CHSL every year. However, some of them get selected for various posts of staff selection commission. It is a 10th standard exam.

    SSC CHSL is a three part exam. It has three Tiers. Candidates, who qualify for Tier 2, can appear for Tier 3. In Tier 2, candidates need to write essays and letters as this paper is descriptive. Once they qualify, they can start for the preparation of Tier 3.

    Tier Type Mode
    Tier – I Objective Multiple Choice Computer Based Test (CBT)
    Tier – II Descriptive Paper in English / Hindi Pen and Paper mode
    Tier – III Skill Test/ Computer Proficiency Test Wherever applicable

     

    To go for Tier 3, you can check your Tier 2 result by following these steps-

    ∙         Visit the official website of Staff Selection Commission which is ssc.nic.in .

    ∙         On the home page, you will find the result section. You will find the link to the date result of SSC CHSL for the year under the result section.

    ∙         When you click on that link, it will require your id and password.

    ∙         Once you enter the id and password, you will get the result open in front.

    ∙         You can save the result. Else, you can also have a print out for future requirements.

    If you are qualified, let’s go to the next step of SSC CHSL Tier 2. It’s the SSC CHSL Tier 3.

    SSC CHSL Tier – 3

    This exam is qualifying nature. However, the final selection after this would be based on marks obtained in Tier – 1 and Tier – 2 along with the result of the typing test.

    Skill Tests

    There are skill tests for these types of posts available-

    ∙         For the post of data entry operator

    What the candidate needed for this test is a data entry speed of 8,000 key depression per hour. The candidate will be given an article based on which he or she has to type a 2000 – 2200 key depression in the duration of 15 minutes.

    ∙         for the post of Data Admission Worker in the Workplace of the Comptroller and Auditor Over-all of India (C&AG)

    This text is a bit more difficult. The candidate needs to have a typing speed of 15000 key depressions per hour. Moreover, the selection for SSC CHSL post will be made on the foundation of the precise entry of words or key depressions as per the article given to the candidate. The duration of this text is 15 minutes. The article given to the candidate would be in printed paper and contains 3700-4000 key depression. For more details, refer to BYJU’s Exam Prep.

    ∙         For the post of Postal Assistants/ Sorting Assistant and Lower Separation Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Associate (LDS/JSA)

    For this test, the key depression needed is 10500 per hour. The selection would be made of the most correct entries of the key depression based on the given passage.

    The duration will be 15minutes of this test. The article, from which the candidate would type it, would be in English and printed on paper. It would be around 9000 key depressions/hour.

    Typing Test

    For the typing test, a candidate needs to have a keying speed of 35 arguments per miniature in English. And for the candidates typing in Hindi, a typing speed of 30 words per minute is needed.

    N.B- Candidates, who are afflicted by Cerebral palsy and deformity in writing, will be allowed 20 minutes of added time.

    If you keep practicing from time to time, it would not be much hard to get past the skill tests and typing test of the SSC CHSL Tier – 3 exam.
